Recently in the USA, Samsung released a 1.3GB One UI 5 Beta 4 update with various bug fixes for the Galaxy S22 smartphone series. It is the fourth update for the same UI, which is Android 13-based. This Samsung Galaxy update also has the October security patch and soon starts rolling out in India and Germany. Thus, it will be available globally in the future. However, the S22 phone users who opted for the UI 5.0 Beta program can check for this update in USA, Germany, and India. Go to settings, software update, download, and install.
One UI 5 Beta 4 Details
This latest update has 1,293.56MB in size and has the ZVJ2 firmware version denoted at the end. There are mostly bug fixes, unlike the last One UI 5 update that brought new lock screen customization features. The Multi-User feature introduced in the previous update is now no more. Also, enabling or disabling the Favorites/Recent in the Gallery app was added. Auto activation of the Do Not Disturb Mode bug is now fixed. Continuous beeping sounds or vibrations witnessed by some users have also been fixed in this Android 13 based Samsung Galaxy update.
Using the S Pen Air Command, opening the app folder, or changing the wallpaper resulted in the phone’s software crash. This bug also is fixed in One UI 5 Beta 4. The missing home screen’s haptic feedback and breaking of the widget frame are settled. Other issues, like Samsung DeX displaying a blank screen when the smartphone’s screen is locked, Object Eraser not working, and Quick Share showing “unable to open file” as a pop-up menu for the file received, are resolved.
