The wait is over! OnePlus has confirmed the OnePlus Open release date for October 19 at 10 AM EDT. This highly-anticipated foldable phone will be unveiled in a grand event at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai, starting at 7:30 PM IST. But that’s not all. OnePlus is also hosting a range of contests and giveaways, offering fans multiple chances to win this groundbreaking device. OnePlus Open Specs and Design
According to leaks, before the OnePlus Open release date, we knew that it would feature an outward folding design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5. It will house a 6.31-inch AMOLED cover screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The main 7.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display will also have a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
Pricing and Availability
Recent leaks suggest a $1,699 price tag for the OnePlus folding phone. The device will be available in the US and Europe, but not in Germany due to an ongoing patent dispute with Nokia. However, only after the OnePlus Open release date of October 19th, at a live launch event in Mumbai, we can know for sure.
