Qualcomm Snapdragon S7 Pro Gen 1: A New Era of WiFi Earbuds, Speakers and Headphones

Qualcomm just launched its new audio chipsets, Snapdragon S7 and S7 Pro Gen 1. These chipsets aim to change how we experience audio in TWS earbuds, headphones, and speakers. The company announced these platforms at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. The S7 Pro Gen 1 stands out for its micro-power Wi-Fi. This feature can speed up to 29 Mbps and extends the audio range way beyond Bluetooth limits.

These new platforms pack six times the computing power and almost 100 times the AI power of the older S5 Gen 2. A dedicated Micro NPU AI engine makes this possible. This engine adapts to your needs all day, offering a more personalized audio experience. Dino Bekis, a top executive at Qualcomm, says the S7 Pro will change how we experience sound. It will offer whole-home and building audio coverage. It also supports up to 192kHz multi-channel lossless music streaming and better spatial audio for gaming. So the best WiFi earbuds fill feature the new chipsets along with headphones and speakers.

Qualcomm’s latest survey shows that sound quality is a top priority for 73% of consumers. Also, 69% see lossless audio quality as a key factor for their next earbud purchase. With the new Snapdragon S7 and Qualcomm Snapdragon S7 Pro Gen 1 platforms, Qualcomm aims to meet this high demand for top-notch audio experiences.
