Realme GT Neo 6 Series Chipsets Spill in Latest Leak
In February of last year, Realme officially introduced the GT Neo 5, followed by the GT Neo 5 SE in April. With a considerable gap since the last release, it’s evident that Realme is now actively developing the GT Neo 6 series, signaling a timely refresh for the lineup.
Digital Chat Station, a typically trustworthy source on Weibo, reports that the Neo 6 family is set to have two phones in its lineup, at least in the initial phase. The first device will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, while the second will opt for the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Anticipated features for these devices include “1.5K” screens and robust 100W charging support tailored for their “ultra-large” batteries. According to reports, they are poised to be highly competitive in terms of pricing, promising substantial value for the money spent.
In China, the anticipated cost of the entry-level Realme model is expected to be below CNY 1,999 (equivalent to $277 or €255 at current exchange rates). However, it’s important to note that if these devices go international, there will likely be a significant price increase due to taxes and logistical considerations.
Rumors suggest that Qualcomm is planning to reveal the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 later this month. Consequently, the announcement for the Realme GT Neo 6 series is expected to follow shortly, although sources indicate that these won’t be the initial devices featuring the new chips to officially launch.
